Our family’s Favourite salad recipe is finally making it to my blog space. This is a regular affair at my dinner table on a weekday night.
Serve it for dinner along with tomato soup and bread. Then pack it up for lunch next day. Don’t say I did not warn you as your colleges would be drooling over your vibrant lunch.
By the way, this salad is very filling just by itself as well. 🙂 I just love to indulge in bowl full of these brightly coloured veggies, pasta and Almonds.
My Husband and I would eat the entire batch just in one go. This salad is packed with all the goodness and nutrition under the sky. This is definitely going to stay on my menu for Long time.

100 grams lettuce
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
1/4 cup finely chopped potatoes
1/2 cup deseeded corn
7-8 cherry tomatoes
1/2 cup chick peas ( boiled )
1/2 cup green grams ( boiled )
1/2 cup pasta ( cooked as instructed on packet )
10 roasted peanuts
1table spoon sesame seeds
5 almonds halved
1/2 cup Bread croutons
1 table spoon mayonies
1 table spoon thousand island dressing.
Salt to taste
1.Take a large deep sized bowl, add lettuce to it.
2.Next layer all veggies listed under 2nd layer.
3.Next add all ingredients of layer 3.
4.Finally add bread croutons and salad dressings mix them all together, and Indulge.
